GOT QUESTIONS?

FAQs

We have two services at First Baptist, one at 8:30 AM and another at 11:00 AM. While both feature the same inspiring message, the Celebration service at 8:30 offers a more traditional worship experience complete with hymns and an adult choir, whereas the Contemporary service at 11:00 AM includes more modern-style worship led by a praise band. Let us help you find the best fit!

Both worship services include a time for worship in song followed by a message rooted in scripture. Following the message is a time for reflection or response in prayer and song. If you have any questions about the order of events or what to expect, check out the archive of services streamed previously.

We invite people to wear whatever they’re most comfortable in. You’ll see people dress formally, such as dresses and slacks, while others come in jeans or other informal wear.

• Sunday mornings: During the 8:30 service, childcare is offered for children birth-5 years in the children’s building. During Sunday school hour, which is 9:45am to 10:45am and the 11:00 service there is childcare and Sunday school classes offered for newborn-6th grade. Sunday school is offered for students’ 7th grade-12th grade at the student building across the street.

• Wednesday evenings: Childcare is offered for children ages birth-2 years and other activities are available for children preschool-6th grade. Worship, teaching, and food as well as games and fellowship are available for student’s 7th-12th grade at the student building across the street.

If you would like to become more involved with the church, head to our connect room directly across from the sanctuary where someone will get you in touch with whoever best suits what you’re looking for!

8:30 AM

Childcare during the 8:30 AM service is for children ages birth- kindergarten.

Sunday School Classes for all ages

11:00 AM

During the 11 AM service we have Extended Teaching Care for Babies to Kindergarten. ETC is designed to encourage play, relationship building, and learning foundational truths about the Lord. After children are dropped, babies to 3 year olds stay in their rooms and play. A leader will share a fun song and a little foundational truth like Jesus Loves you or God made you while the children play together. For those who are 4 and 5 years old, they have Preschool Worship which they come together to sing songs, take up offering, and learn a Bible lesson. They then return to their rooms to play and possibly have a craft that goes with the Bible lesson from that day.

Classes for all ages

Children's Church: 9:45 am

At FBC Kids, we begin Sunday School, at 9:45am with large group time to learn about the memory verse for the day. The children then break out into grade levels to have a deeper time of discipleship over the Bible lesson and memory verse. Kid’s Church is a specific service created with 1st-6th Graders in mind. The focus of this time is to teach the why of worship, fellowship, and offering, and to have a focused large group Bible study time. It is a time to begin to build the foundation of what it means to meet together to worship, grow, and serve the Lord.

Sunday School: 9:45am

All students start in Large Group in our Student Building Worship Room with a Devotional led by a Student Ministry Leader, then they will break off into small groups organized by gender and grade to discuss what was taught in Large Group!

Sunday School: 9:45 am

We want every member at First Baptist Church to be known, loved, shepherded, and discipled to maturity in Christ (Col. 1:28) and our Sunday School classes are one of the best environments for this to happen. In other words, our Sunday School exists for members to pursue community (known and loved) and maturity (shepherded and discipled) in Christ. We have Sunday School for all ages! Please see the tool below to help you find a class!
