HOW TO GIVE
Ways To Give
When you give at First Baptist Church Morristown, a portion of everything given goes to missions. There are four ways to give:

FUND OPTIONS
Select Funds
You may select one of five funds to give:
90% of your contribution to the General Fund: Cooperative Program will help our church operate. The remaining 10% will be divided between the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) “Cooperative Program” ministries and the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board (TBMB).
90% of your contribution to the General Fund: Alternate Program will help our church operate. The remaining 10% will be divided between the Timothy Initiative church planting ministry, the Tennessee Baptist State Offering (TBMB), our local Nolachucky Baptist Association, and our Acts 1:8 local missions initiative.
Any contribution to the Building Fund: Generational Legacy does not go to our church’s operational budget. Rather, 100% of the contributions given to this fund go to our Building Fund, which may be used to help the church with such items as the construction or renovation of church facilities, the purchase of property, or similar items. The building fund is just name of the fund, and Generational Legacy is just the name of the current campaign. Just know the building fund and the Generational Legacy campaign currently are used for the same purposes.
The Neighborhood to Nations fund is our mission’s fund. Any contributions to this fund do not apply to the church budget, so it does not help the church operate. Rather, this fund is specifically for missions. 100% of the contributions for this fund are set to one of three mission offerings: Annie Armstrong, Golden State, and Lottie Moon.
The purpose of this fund is to allow one mission offering to be collected throughout the year to support the Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, and Golden offerings. Rather than have one season to support each individual offering, we will collect across the year to support them all.
It also allows contributors the opportunity to support these offerings with recurring gifts. By giving weekly or monthly, a contributor may be able to give more to missions than if they had just given a one-time gift.
If you would like to give to any specific item not listed above, simple make “Other”. Feel free to write a note telling what you want the funds to go toward, and we will make sure it happens.
