Safekeeping Policy
It is the desire of First Baptist Church to provide a safe, healthy and fun environment in which all children may learn. The following information is our health and security policy:
Health
1) A child who has exhibited any of the following symptoms within the previous 24 hours is possibly contagious and should not be in a group situation:

A. Fever
B. Sore Throat
C. Cough
D. Vomiting/Diarrhea
E. Rash
F. Skin/ Eye Infection
2) If your child becomes ill or exhibits any of the above symptoms you will be notified.
3.) Teachers and Childcare workers are never permitted to administer medication of any kind to your child.
4) Should your child contact or be in the incubation stage of a communicable disease during attendance with us, please notify the Preschool Division Director as soon as possible.
If your child has a continually clear-runny nose or rash due to non-contagious allergies, please let us know. We realize some symptoms hang on long after a child is no longer contagious.
Security
Upon arrival, parents will check in children at the Parent Pager stations. You will be given a check in sheet which will be presented to your child's teacher. To pick up your child you must check out at the Parent Pager station take your check slip to your child's teacher and present it to the teacher. No child will be released in the preschool area to any person except a parent or family member with the Parent Pager Security Sheet.
Remember we want all of our preschoolers to remain safe, healthy and happy.
